Our family practice is located near the heart of Jacksonville, right across from Downtown. Previously a dental office since the 1960s we are excited to continue serving our wonderful patients in our community. Our goal is for everyone to feel welcome at our office, from the moment you walk through the door to the moment you arrive home. Dr. Elssy Lopez, DDS General Dentist
Dr. Elssy Lopez grew up half an hour away from Jacksonville in Orange Park, FL. She attended the University of Central Florida for her bachelor’s degree where she studied Molecular & Microbiology along with Chemistry and Mathematics. After graduating from UCF, she moved to Maryland where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD.

Dr. Carol Gilbert-Orrego, DMD General Dentist
Dr. Gilbert is a general dentist dedicated to empowering patients with proactive, comprehensive preventative dental care. She is committed to collaborative, evidence-based dentistry, fostering a supportive environment where patients feel empowered to take an active role in their long-term health, and she serves all ages. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (D.M.D.) from the University of Florida College of Dentistry and is currently studying to become an orthodontist at JU. Dr. Gilbert speaks both English and Spanish fluently.

Meet DanielOffice Manager
Originally from Palm Coast, FL, Daniel moved to Jacksonville at a young age. He grew up fixing cars and machines with his dad, and has strong technological knowledge. Now, he loves working in dentistry because it combines hands-on skills around the office, along with building lasting connections with patients. When he's not at work, Daniel enjoys taking care of his many pets, spending time with his friends and family, and doing outdoor activities while getting to know Jacksonville more. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, thanks to his large cultural background.
Meet Sarah, RDHDental Hygienist
Sarah is from Jacksonville originally and has been a registered dental hygienist for over 5 years. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Florida State College of Jacksonville. She enjoys getting to know her patients and creating life long bonds with them. Sarah has attended many volunteer events throughout Jacksonville, including the Give Kids A Smile event held at FSCJ ever year. When she is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and getting to know more of Florida.
Meet Yeny Dental Lab Technician
Yeny has worked in the dental field for over 12 years. She enjoys working with patients to achieve their dream smile. Her experience with flexible, acrylic and resin based dentures creates a diverse treatment plan option for our patients. She enjoys being hands on both in the lab and clinic. Yeny is currently taking courses to advance her career with 3D printed dentures. When she's not working she is spending time with family, and getting to know Jacksonville's best cuisines!
Meet Lisandra Patient Coordinator
Lisandra is bilingual speaking Spanish and English fluently. Lisandra has been in the dental field for almost two year. She has experience making appointments, verifying insurance eligibility and enjoys bringing smiles to patients and our team. Her passionate and caring personality will make you feel at home every time. When she's not at the office she enjoys cooking, trying out new restaurants and spending time with her family and friends.
Meet YohannaTreatment Coordinator
Yohanna is bilingual speaking Spanish and English fluently. Yohanna has been in the dental field for many years with experience focused on general and pediatric dentistry. She has experience making appointments, verifying insurance eligibility and presenting treatment plans to patients. Her experience and background in dental assisting helps treatment planning become very concise and easy to understand. When she's not at the office she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Meet Samantha Billing Coordinator
Samantha is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Samantha has past experience in healthcare and studied for Business Administration with a concentration of Accounting in Venezuela. She also has experience working in customer service at a Spa Studio for many years. Samantha loves helping patients achieve their dream smile. She also loves to work with patients of all ages and enjoys learning new things . When she isn’t supporting local restaurants, enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, dancing and going to the beach.
Meet NicoleLead Dental Assistant, EFDA
Nicole is originally from Palm Coast, FL. She grew up in Orange Park and speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently. She has over 3 years of experience in working as a dental assistant and is interested in becoming a dental hygienist. She has experience making appointments, verifying insurance eligibility and enjoys bring smiles to patients and our team. When she is not at the office she enjoys cooking, trying out new restaurants and visiting friends.
Meet LuisDental Assistant, EFDA
Luis has been in the dental field for over 15 years. He is originally from Puerto Rico and speaks fluent English and Spanish. On his time off, Luis enjoys traveling, creating videos, taking photos and spending time with family and friends. Luis is passionate about helping our patients feel comfortable and at ease at every appointment. His fun and caring personality creates a great environment at the office.
Meet ElderDental Assistant, EFDA
Elder is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish fluently. Elder has worked in the dental field for over 2 years and is dedicated to helping and assisting his patients in any way possible. Elder is passionate about helping our patients feel comfortable and comes to work with positive energy! He is currently taking dental courses and is also interested in continuing his education to one day become a dental hygienist. On his time off Elder enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Meet AlexisDental Assistant
Alexis is originally from Puerto Rico and speaks both Spanish and English fluently. He has been with out team for almost 2 years. He is interested in studying Biomedical Sciences and then apply to dental school to become the first dentist in his family. His warm personality provides positive energy in our office. When he is not working at the clinic, he enjoys taking walks on the beach and getting to know Jacksonville!
Meet JhuliaDental Assistant
Jhulia is bilingual and speaks English and Portuguese fluently. Jhulia is new to the dental world but is a quick learner and passionate about helping our patients feel comfortable. She is currently taking dental courses and is also interested in continuing her education in the dental and health field. On her time off Jhulia enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
